Our Juice trees and Gingergold are planted.
More rows of Gala trees are planted. Our orchard is slowly growing bigger and bigger.
More GingerGold are planted. It was a slow year for us.
We bought a packing line, making sorting easier and faster.
We planted more Gala, Ambrosia and HoneyCrisp. Making the tree count 1250! We also renovated the barn into a cooler and put more drainage in the orchard. So the rain water can run into the pond making the orchard more efficient.
Pie-in-the-Sky Farm and Bakery is owned and operated by the Vandenberg Family. Our love to produce the perfect fruit for others to enjoy is reflected in how we grow our apples, raspberries and more. Our chief grower recently came home from New Zealand working on a orchard. Learning new ways to grow the best produce for you in a environmentally and corporate social responsible way.
Our love for food carries on in the Bakery where our third-generation pastry chef uses her skills to bring the taste from the field into the creations you can put on your table. Visit our goats Bella and Annie or enjoy a treat on the hay wagon. We look forward to seeing you soon.
